Pre Employment Personality Testing Our pre employment personality testing and candidate assessment includes the integration of the personality assessment tool with an in depth telephone screening of your candidate. If your organization has developed a top performer composite model and skill set requirements, then in addition to being able to provide you with the overall personality strengths of your candidate, OPUS is able to compare and contrast your candidate's profile to your top performers, and share notes with you regarding the candidate's ability to match up with your pre-established requirements. The process is simple. Your candidate will complete their input to the pre employment personality testing assessment tool, and you will provide OPUS with a copy of the candidate's resume. OPUS will contact the candidate to review the profile results, and to review their past work experience. You will receive a written profile report and a comparison, if applicable, to your top performer composite. OPUS will also contact you to discuss the strengths of your candidate, and recommend a course of action for you to pursue. Reference checking is not necessarily an art, but it takes more time and effort than many people allocate for it. OPUS has the experience and resources to expand your normal reference checking in two ways. First, if we have completed the candidate assessment service and the pre employment personality testing, then we have gained important knowledge about the candidate's behavioral strengths and weaknesses. We can utilize this information when checking their references. Named references will never want to say anything negative about a candidate, however they will be honest when asked a direct question. We are able to drill down into areas of potential concern because we have knowledge of the candidate's behavioral strengths. That gives us a leg up when conducting the reference checks. In addition, because we have been providing this service to our clients since 1989, we have many, many people in our database. Often we are able to find someone that knows the candidate that may not have been included on their reference list. These contacts can be very helpful in the reference checking process.
