The theme is so true. Having been in sales and sales management my entire career, I’ve been with firms who make it easy and those who make it difficult to actually sell their product/services. And what a difference when you have references, fair pricing, competitive advantages, customer facing programs, etc. My personal favorite management mistake is when they are convinced the product/service sells itself, because it is so good, so cool, so whatever!!
